zzzzzz

Went to Setapak to search for rooms yesterday. We didn't have proper planning, so we started calling those on the list upon arriving there, and, well, didn't really got to see any rooms, since most of them are dead still asleep or have rented out the rooms already. So my dad took us to The Curve! This world is really really small. Hong Kong dramas were so right. This car in front belongs to my elder sister. So we met her there with her BF aka Ben, my first time meeting him, He's kinda thinner than what I've imagine.
Had lunch in Marche's(read as Mar-shay). I'm not really familiar with its concept. Cool still. You get this card when you walk in, and whenever you get some food people will fill up your card with their own codes. Lovely salad. Love the sauce.Good root beer!(Not like the A&W one) Root beer's halal, didn't know it until yesterday.
Watched this movie. It's not really a good film, not a bad one either. There were some moments(I believe in MAGIC!) Kinda like the underdog theme, and paul blart's quite memorable too actually. 5/10Thinking of getting myself one of these!
PS: I've almost forgotten the Star Trek trailer. Freaking awesome trailer!

Some shop selling American army uniforms. Dad particularly liked this helmet(Authentic one from Vietnam war guys!) Rm288, woot!
Stopped by at Ikano Power Center.Best place to be when you wanna buy any sorts of furniture! I've mistaken these garbage bins for flower pots. RM5 shop. SJ loves to be apek.
Retro is cool mind you :P
That pretty much sums up the day, one of the Okay days I had in weeks!
Kitschen. Reminds me of Kit Shyen :P

Had a good day, not enjoying sleep though

I went down KL with my parents and sis today!
At first we were going to scout for rooms for me to stay when I start studying, but we totally skipped it and went to The Curve!
Gonna blog about it soon.
Gosh, what a nice day, though I'm not enjoying right now.
I cannot sleep. I think I've injured one of my tendons/ligaments, serious pain at the right arm.
I don't really know how to solve this, folding my arm doesn't seem to work, and the pain won't fade away.
Screw the dumbbells, maybe screw myself. :(

As George says

HELP!

I'm darn emo.

Thursday, April 23, 2009

Hey hey! It's a sunny day!

2009 is not a good year for me indeed, Zodiac's pretty true(yes SJLau is more superstitious than religious), so after ranting about how things had turned out for me in the post below, my mom made me bathe holy water!
Ingredients! Thought technically it's some bits of lemons, flowers and leaves, but it's still better than any kind of soups! Very nice scent indeed. The water's rather acidic(I tasted it :P), but it's fun having petals stuck in between your hair and pressing the lemons against your pimples, and came out rather refreshed! Feels like a baptism! Feels like someone new! Yeah, whatever :)

Mom did something good for an Indian teacher who got promoted, so he bought mom some pizzas from Pizza Hut,Really nice of him, but frankly these pizzas from PizzaHut don't qualify as good food anymore. (PizzaHut's fault!) Look at the pictures here:The bread's really really thin, the toppings are littler than what they used to provide, some toppings are literally carbon, and the only taste you can get is contributed by the pineapples(occasionally bits of meat and cheese)(where are the olives?). Thumbs down to PizzaHut.
There's a chain mail out there saying PizzaHut's a racist restaurant or so, but it's not true according to MCA's website. According to the someone someone(I don't know who he is seriously) of PizzaHut, it's a hate mail that's been circulating since 2006, and brings no truth at all. Well I don't know to trust or not because the picture of the receipt looks convincing, but I don't think I'll be going to PizzaHut's anyway for the reasons given above.

I really have like nothing else going on in my life, so I decided to take a trip down to Teluk Intan to look for Kit Shyen! BRATs should know who she is right? She's my freaking Guardian Angel!(although the truth was that Julian was my GA but he sucked but Kit Shyen did a great job pretending to be my GA so I treat her as my GA! :D)
I was going to take a 9.50 bus, but the bus left before I left school(doing some apps), so I rode my scooter down to Teluk Intan! This is what my scooter looks like, a red Yamaha Ego S. It's like the taiko among all scooters, very powerful(dunno how many CC though), can accelerate faster than cars(I think it'll win a drag race with proton cars), and I think my dad sent it for repair once only, very tahan lasak!
The only photo I took though out the whole journey. Somewhere 10km after Bidor. On the way, it was a sight seeing galore, but still quite boring, after one long stretch of old palm plantation comes another one, luckily I took my MP3 along, which is, well, I don't have an MP3, I just shout sing along the way, some people turned and look at me too but I didn't give a damn really. Dust keeps getting into my eyes, such a spoiler, eyes became sepet-fied. And it was real sunny, luckily the journey's quite windy, so I wasn't really having a problem with the temps. And before I forget, some bugger almost hit me! I was going straight and from right his car drifted to my left just inches ahead of me. That earned me some horning rights, so I just horned him like crazy and had fun doing so!
I reached there in an hours time or so. Parked at some big mamak stall and Kit Shyen came to fetch me! I left my camera in my bike so i didnt took any other photos. :(
Nevermind, I still had a GREAT time nonetheless.
On the way there I was thinking about what kind of car Kit Shyen would drive, I was thinking wira, or some kancil/kelisa, or maybe a bigger car or so. Then she came with this SUV! She's a great driver, obviously better than the guy who failed twice and got his third chance fucked up, if you're wondering who that is read the post below. Our conversation topics are so random, but it's quite cool too la, I'm also quite surprised that I'm speaking quite okayly after months of not uttering English sentences...
Went to search for food, but got to McD's eventually. Learnt a lot more about her, and I really am sure that we didn't expect both of us to both know that certain somebody, like wow of all the people, haha, the world's damn small right, gossiped bout him, haha, and that changed my view on him quite a bit, thinking of whether to meet him or not next week, or just meet Kit Shyen again!
Even took me round town, like round and round, was really fun although there's like nothing in Teluk Intan as she said.
And oh, my mom didn't know I was there, my dad didn't know I rode the scooter there, and my mom called me when we were in McD's and I gave her the usual excuse! Daniel's house! Playing games! Which was a really the best excuse really.
Honestly, I expected awkwardness and I was really nervous before she came to fetch me, but it really went well, zero awkwardness, nothing to be nervous about and she's great! One of the best people I've know of.
Fortunately it didn't rain when I went back, the journey was shorter(psychologically affected I think), met my first road block, and well, missed Teluk Intan and Kit Shyen and her SUV really. You're such a good host and friend, even treated me lunch(which I feel teribbly guilty about, I will belanja buffet next time!). I'm sure I'm gonna go down again to meet with you within these few weeks.
I'm thinking of doing extraordinary things like everyday from today onwards just to make my life a little more meaningful, but erm, see how it goes! It's 3am already and I'm darn tired, had yumcha session with my friends just now too, great to meet some of them who I've not been seeing for a while, watched one of X-files movies and ate overpriced Mamak food!
Out.

Stupid rant

It's been a long time since I'm this angry.
Having failed my 2 driving tests already, I was really anxious to take tomorrow's, and I was very confident that I'll pass for I've practiced really a lot these weeks. I am going to college soon too, so I'll be quite busy doing all the apps within these few weeks.
Just now my instructor came to fetch me to Tapah, as usual, for a driving practice. Upon arriving there, he received a phone call. I am not going to take my test tomorrow. The staff responsible for computing the datas of those taking the test have "forgotten" to type in mine.
I was puzzled, my instructor asked whether theres anything that can be done, but the guy said that the office's closed because yesterday was some bugger's birthday, then followed by many sorries.
How angry and frustrated was I. I remember sitting there like I was numb or something. The instructor trained the other girl, and I was left waiting there at the driving school. Few minutes before I was sms-ing with some friends, chatting about where we're going for our future studies. The news just knocked everything out of me. I ended all my conversations and stared blankly into the horizon. Inside I was boiling. I pictured on how I'd hit him when I met the fat jackass who have"forgotten" to compute in my name. Went on imagining how I'd kick his car, threaten him to pay me 50 bucks(Fees), and all the childish shit. I really can't stand sitting there any more, I dash into the toilet and smashed a plastic pipe on the wall with a sidekick. Oh the anger and almost the tears. Totally unbearable. And they could do nothing today because yesterday was someone's birthday. Yeah right, everyone is having public holidays because of this guy's birthday. What makes him so special, oh because he is royal? Oh fuck the term royal! What do they do? Contributions? Other than joining some fancy golf club, giving people datukship, spending on people's taxes. They're great. Just too great. Why can't I be a royal? Because I don't have a royal dad! Them stupid lucky buggers.
Sad, I was and am. Every time when you'll be having your test tomorrow, the instructor would keep your L-license card. Just now while on the way back, he gave it back to me. I took it with my left arm and stretch my arm out of the window. How I hope that I could have thrown it away, that it worths nothing, that I have my P license already. Plus after hearing stories about bribery anywhere though they have these anti corruption campaigns, how the rhetoric 1Malaysia will always be bullshit and government's efficiency, really fumes me up. Another 2 weeks, ah great.
I swear that whenever I have the chance to leave this country, I would. I hate Malaysia, sorry.

Devil is Me!

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

I like this quiz. I really am wanting to be a freaking successful businessman. Next time the whole KL would be littered with my posters :P Not to mention Subang Jaya, I'll build my fortress there!

SJ is hibernating

Dad plays video games!
Yeah, life is great.
Whenever you do something you'll get the retribution you deserve, and you can't hide from it! It's the Karma rule!(Don't take it religiously please :D)
Yeah well, just ignore the above statements, not the main story anyway.
Something happened to me you see.
It's quite, disturbing to me really.
But I'm gonna post it up anyway.
As you can see, hair thinning at the both edges of my forehead.
2 inverted Vs= an M!!!
Yes indeed, and M shaped forehead at the age of 17!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!
Shock and Awe!
Hence you won't see anymore pictures of SJ Lau online for the moment...

It doesn't really matter anyway does it? heheh...
Health report:
Wakes up every morning with itch at the palms, feet, knee and elbow. Allergies perhaps. Could be something neuro too. Dustmite probability excluded. Maybe developed from the stress generated by scholarship and college apps too. Have been sleeping late too, and mosquitoes these days are not as shy as they used to be. Became a blood donor, for karma sake. Should I be meeting the doctor? Don't think so, have handled more serious sickness without the aid of medication or a doctor. Inner nostrils always swell up, have difficulty breathing. Asks dog for help. Dog gave me Breathe-Right.Bloody dang helpful. Slept well through all nights. End of report. Bye.

3rd time is always the luckiest!

This morning I took my driving test.
Everything was smooth and well.
UNTIL!!!!
Until some stupid Wira dashed out from the left and braked in front of my car!
And then bump!
I hit the car!!!
STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!
Was I framed or was I that unlucky????
The only good thing from it was that I didn't scratch or did any physical damage to the car.
Gosh I failed twice!!!
Maria and my sis both told me 3rd time is always the luckiest.
Well hope so! Have to wait 2 weeks for the 3rd time though :(

And you guys should so watch this:

No more COD4!

PC is unable to boot up, so now I'm using my dad's laptop.
Better than having nothing, but I'll dead miss Call of Duty 4's multiplayer games!
:(

One of my dogs is diagnosed with bronchitis.
Poor Charlie.
He's been having these dry coughs for days.
Took him to a vet in Teluk Intan, his cough surprisingly stopped.
He was too distracted by the view!
I unleashed him in the car, he would stand up and look out of one window, then he'll move to the other side to bark and motorcyclists, jump up and down, sniff a bit here and there, scratched himself, then look out the hind window and front one too, randomly, looked so restless. He didn't cough anymore for the whole trip, except for a few short moment or two. Cool alpha dog even marked his territories outside the vet's house. Vet's job was simple. Tell him how Charlie was, he told us about how bronchitis is quite usual and gave a few antibiotic pills straight away. Then there was this talk between him and my dad about dogs, people, politics, and all the usual kopitiam topics. I was playing with the dog that was suffering from bronchitis.
Diagnose, suffer, these words are a bit overrated.

I love receiving sms-es from mom. Like today!
I sms-ed mom when I went for driving practice, telling her that I might not be able to come home before 6.
My mom replied: Ok!
Just made my day.
Mom don't always show exclamation marks you see.
It's just funny, to imagine mom's face when she says that okay with a !
Priceless. I love you mom.

Happy April Fools guys!
Well you guys must be expecting something from someone like me, but I got nothing to offer today sadly. I think my brain's running out of juice, it's kinda late already for a long day like today.

PS: I'm using the old Mozilla Firefox 2.0. I think I prefer this version.
